DRAFT – a lawyer must review before launch
Written in plain words from how Fireville works today. It is not final and not legal advice. Highlighted [BLANKS] must be filled in by the lawyer.
The short version
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Some parts, especially live video, still have gaps. We're working on them.
- If anything is hard to use, tell us and we'll help you directly.
This summary helps you read the policy; the full text below is what applies.

1.Our goal#
Fireville should be usable by people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, zoom, larger text or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the website and app.
2.What we do#
- Light and dark themes with readable contrast.
- Labels on buttons and icons for screen readers, and visible focus outlines for keyboard users.
- Layouts that work on phones and computers and with zoom.
- Plain-language policies with a table of contents.
3.Known gaps#
Live shows move fast. Live video doesn't have captions yet, and fast auction timers can be hard to follow with assistive technology. If an auction timer makes it hard for you to take part, contact support and we'll look for a way to help. [OWNER: list any other known gaps before launch.]
4.Get help or give feedback#
Email support@fireville.app with the subject “Accessibility” or use Help → Contact support in the app. Tell us the page and what got in the way. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
